Delivery Capability Suggestions

Changes on September 28, 2026

Complete change list

  • Fixed an issue in Delivery Timeline where selecting or clicking a change card automatically triggered background AI capability exploration and regenerated suggestions repeatedly.
  • Preserved existing capability suggestions even when workspace-level capability graph modifications invalidate generation timestamps.
  • The Initiative phase transition dialog, canonical theme dialog, and global feedback dialog include explicit accessible descriptions to comply with screen reader requirements.
  • The primary Call-to-Action in "Decide approach" maintains a clear visual hierarchy, rendering the next prescribed step as the primary button and alternate phase transitions as secondary outline buttons.
  • Strategic initiatives created top-down without prior linked customer problems can now generate goal direction suggestions directly from their title, impacted capabilities, and workspace strategy.
  • Saving an Initiative with suggested scope no longer crashes with a missing problem error if an AI-suggested problem was deleted or cannot be resolved, allowing the initiative to finish creation while displaying a warning toast for unlinked problems.
  • The Initiative Detail View cleanly suppresses empty goal shells when no goal is confirmed, elevating primary workflow actions (Suggest goal directions and Write my own goal) directly into the elevated action slot and suppressing premature execution linkers (Link change, Create work item) until execution begins.
  • In the Initiative Decision Brief, the immediate intra-phase operational step ("Your next action", such as linking problems or deciding an approach) and the lifecycle phase progression ("Phase progression", such as starting implementation or moving to review) are cleanly separated into dedicated card sections with visual borders, eliminating button conflict and clarifying workflow steps.
  • Moving an Initiative forward or backward across phases (such as starting work, moving to review, or deciding next steps) now persists in the Kanban board and workspace when linked problems exist or analysis is unrefreshed, instead of immediately snapping back to "Decide approach".
  • Users can now freely backspace and clear the "Your Intent or Desired Outcome" field in the goal section without the input immediately snapping back to its prior draft or title.
  • Removed obsolete legacy footer action buttons ("Initiative details and relationships" and "Refresh workspace") from the bottom of the Initiative Decision Brief, eliminating redundant duplicate links in favor of the canonical header controls and automated React Query refresh.
  • The full-page Initiative Decision Brief suppresses premature closure options during the "Decide approach" and "Work in progress" phases, reserving delivery closure exclusively for when work is complete or ready for review.
  • The Initiative detail panel displays sections in canonical Product Loop order (Goal, Problems, Learning, Decisions, Achieved, Comments) with concise substantive headers instead of sentence fragments or premature closure prompts.
  • The Initiative detail panel goal workflow is harmonized with the full-screen creation workspace, displaying strategy context badges, an intent formulation field, persistent goal direction cards that survive navigation, clear clarification feedback for ambiguous input, and direct custom goal authoring.
  • Empty relation sections (Problems and Learning with zero items) are suppressed from the Initiative detail panel per Design Rules §1.4, while Comments remain visible as an interactive collaboration surface.
  • The "Goal and outcome history" section now only displays when previous revisions, reviews, or closure receipts exist, suppressing redundant self-duplication on newly confirmed initiatives.
  • The full-page Initiative Decision Brief suppresses empty boilerplate placeholder sections ("What we know", "What it impacts", "Delivered work & Changes", "What remains uncertain", and premature closure review options) when no items exist or when the initiative is in the "Clarify goal" phase, keeping focus strictly on clarifying and confirming the goal.
  • Fixed an issue where pasting or typing external URLs (e.g. Bluesky or custom links) into the Add External Artifact dialog could cause the page to crash.
